PeeWee Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I wanted to road test this before posting it up tbh, but now after a few days usauge it seems very good for the cash as Asda are now knocking these out at 65 quid.clickyhttp://www.binatonecarrera.com/_uk/images/product/fullview/X350_BS_IGOUK.jpgI must admit to being a bit cautious having used tomtom for some time now but im pleasantly surprised at its performance & features.Just thought i would post it up for those requiring a nicely made cheap satnav including 6 months speed cam support.
lazy_arse_pie Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 bloody hell that is cheap , no reason not to have one
PeeWee Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 Find us a cheap tomtom pete Well this one actually runs on windows mobile software so i believe there is a possibility that tomtom can be run over it.Although im rather impressed at its performance either way tbh ian.Sd card slot & usb to upgrade it too, so all good.

I've had to customise a Win Mobile 5 VGA version of TomTom 6 to work on my Win Mobile 6 pro QVGA so Shouldn't be too difficult sorting for this...

That should run TomTom without a slight hitch... grab a Win Mobile 5 (cab installer) QVGA version and bung it on! - use std TomTom maps, voices etc and use the multi-platform keygen TomTom for half the price... CoPilot Live! for win mobile 5/6 seems pretty decent also... full p/c searches! and free safety cams. just have to shell out for Traffic which is free on TomTom.
PeeWee Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 So will that give me the win mobile 5 os plus tomtom then phil? Its tempting as i like to fiddle but not keen on destroying a working (& very good) sat nav if its risky?
