Pumatt
This was January 2008. When I had just passed my driving test (4days) and borrowed my mothers corsa.... heres what happened, car couldn't handle the pace understeer, no ABS, and a slippy country road... hit the banking on the other side of the road, rolled it with 4 people in the car. No one was hurt. Thank god its another Vauxhall off the road.PICS.... http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb234/Bolger17/Matts%20Other%20cars/CrashDark2.jpghttp://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb234/Bolger17/Matts%20Other%20cars/SP_A0083.jpghttp://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb234/Bolger17/Matts%20Other%20cars/P1200042.jpghttp://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb234/Bolger17/Matts%20Other%20cars/P1200029.jpg

Well I wasn't speeding on the corner I went into, braked with PLENTY of time but nothing was happening... skidded about 50 feet, no tyre squeal, that how slippy the road was.In fact and completely truthful, Nearly fell over on the the road when got out aswell. caled
The fact you weren't speeding is irrelevant as you obviously werent driving to the conditions...

Tez162003
regardless of what you did, if it was your fault or not, you seem a bit too proud off yourself for rolling a corsa. Think yourself lucky no-one was injured or worse, died! Someone i knew got hit square on the side in a 5 door corsa B by a 40 ton lorry doing 40mph 4 hours into his driving career, there was 5 inches left in the drivers footwell. he got 2 broken collar bones, luckily the other 2 got out (via a medic pulling them out while un concious.) with only few bumps and bruises. The driver of that car could barely look his friends in the face he felt so guilty, dread to think how he would have felt if one the the passengers had died or seriously injured. As Stu said, you may have been below the limit but you drive to the conditions, not the speed limit. You wouldnt go 60mph on a bendy country road during a blizzard. Pumatt
We all understood that we were lucky, some people are not as lucky. And it is lucky that your friend is okay. I'd feel the same if they were hurt. And the corner that i crashed on wasn't sign posted or warning. but since then the corner has been lit up with corner signs, 25mph speed limit, corner indicators. Also found a sign on way back saying there was 60 something accidents 2007-2008, Just on the road.

I would have though id would end up in the footwell or something . Also i undid the seat belt and landed on my head. Also my mate who was in the back, is a bit fat and the they couldnt kick the back window through and had to squeeze through the gap between the seats. i didnt need the lesson but i got this as a reminder for the rest of my life anyway, certainly reigns you in when you start getting coockyhttp://i820.photobucket.com/albums/zz128/kniterider/Photo0009.jpgdrive carefully, live long and get laid BLOODY HELL :| how you manage that mate?
